Illustration Friday--"Muddy"

Muddy Thoughts
2010

I used to describe my thoughts as muddy quite often. It's a state that I really can't describe any other way. When I hear that word, I always imagine an opaque body of water where you can't really make out anything that's floating around in there, until there is absolute calm and quiet and the dust has a chance to settle...

I love this; I'm a great fan of line and using text in an image and I always go back to images in these subtle colours. Great.

great murky shadows. Are the notes real actual notes? It's always a bit exciting to get a glimpse into other people's lives...;)
I like how all the different planes in the image come together so naturally. very nice!

I know what you mean - my thinking is like that any time the temperature goes above ~89 degrees. That's why I like winter better ----- winter weather = much clearer thinking in Laimaland.
