I'm in trouble.

I've noticed a disturbing trend in Leta's play scenarios.

The mom always dies. Then some other species comes in and says, "Don't worry, I can take care of you."

Either this is the most tragic thing Leta can dream up and so she always uses it for dramatic purposes, or...

I think that is the age because Patti was 4 when we separated and she was always asking....Who will take care of me if you die?
I tried to explain to her that I was going to live for a long time and when she grew up and married she would bring her children over to my house and I would give them cookies because that is what Grandma's do and I would be a Grandma then. She understood that and then Barb had Shannon a few months later and one of my friends called me a Grandma !!!!! Patti's eyes popped out of her head (just about) and it started all over again..

It's Disney! They love mother abandonment stories.

That is so funny, in a I-like-CSI sorta way.
