I am in love!

with my new running shoes (sorry Jason). I have yet to try running in them (save that short jaunt around the store) but let me tell you, they are Like Buttah. I want to take my old shoes out back and shoot them.

When I came home, high on the excitement of new shoes, I went over the moon when I found a package from my grandparents. Adorable. Origami hats for Cullen for Boys Day (Japan), among other things. I HAVE to write to them this week.

Advice from GG
You shouldn't run, even though you have new shoes, if you have a chest cold...
I just read an article on exercise when you aren't well... Better to get all the rest a Mother can get and be better faster.

Where did you get your shoes? I shoud really get new ones, since mine are from before I had both kids, and my knees hurt after I run.

Mail is totally underrated, isn't it? Wish my grandparents were still around. But then they didn't send me mail, they just taught me how to cheat at cards or turned a blind eye and grin as I carefully and quietly snuck cookies from their cookie jar. Ah, budda, um.

Save your other shoes for gardening and getting dirty.
Good shoes are everything! That is why I am so upset about cart boy at Sam's club. Yer Momma

Oh, and one more thing, yes Grandma French has always been good with the surprise packages! I remember when I was pregnant with Shannon and very poor, she sent diapers, and fabric so that I could make some maternity clothes, and always sent lots of Japanese food items! They will be thrilled to hear from you! Yer MOMMA
