Purly Goodness

About once per year I decide I should knit something. Every time, without fail, I can not remember how to purl to save my life. I guess I never knit enough for it to stick in my brain. Most people find knitting to be relaxing, but I find it to be stressful and I end up with high blood pressure and a stiff neck. What's that you say? Perhaps I should not knit?
...
You're right. I need to go to bed, anyway.

I forget how to purl too...or is knit? Hm. One or the other.

is purling the part where you cast stitches on at the very beginning?

Because that's the part *I* don't remember how to do.... once it's started, though, I"m golden. well... that might be an overstatement.... my stitches aren't particularly even... but I'm starting to feel the desire to knit with all these other knitters around me... must... resist.... extra projects....
